(free) Books of the month from Audible Stories

As you probably know, during the pandemic Amazon has made a number of their audiobooks for kids available to stream for free as Audible Stories.

My 11 year old, who is an avid reader and audio book fan, tells you about the books he’s been enjoying:

Green Ember by S D Smith – An exciting fantasy novel, about the realities of war (though not in a gory way.)

The Mystwick School of Musicraft by Jessica Khoury – A mystery adventure story, with great music. (Does dabble with Necromancy a bit, but not in a gruesome way.)

Zero G and Dragon Planet by Dan Wells – Sci-fi adventure, with pirates and dragons.

Interview with a robot by Lee Bacon – Sci-fi about a super powerful AI robot that looks like a 12 year old girl, who is fleeing her creators.

Winnie The Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner by A A Milne – The classic recordings.

Viva Durant and the Secret of the Silver Buttons by Ashli St. Armant – A modern book for kids who love famous five type adventures.

What books and audiobooks are you enjoying at the moment?
